When I showed my mom Speed, she had no idea I was a fan - I'd never mentioned him to her. Her first question was, "Now, who is this guy again?" I showed her the video box and she said, "Man, he's good looking. Is he single?"

My best friend at the time burst out laughing, and said, "Your apple sure didn't fall too far from the tree."

You know...I thought there was more "chemistry" between Keaton and Keanu than with her and Nicholson? No? I could be wrong; it's just the impression I got as I was watching this film. Even during the romantic moments between herself and Nicholson, I felt that Keaton was doing most of the work.

well, my mom totally supports my keanucrush. she's always available to ooh and ahh over how "nice looking" he is, and she just couldn't stop talking about him after we watched Speed...
