I wish he was playing tonight and I wish I was there

hounding pounding
the base frequency of your bass frequently
thumps me
humps me
feeling your riffs on my hips and my lips
move the floor
move it more
make me yours
pound me
hound me
make me sweat
make me wet
tune out the treble
tune out the beat and the shriek
until all I hear is you
nothing but sound
thump me
kiss me
pump me
riff me

Beautiful and beautifully erotic.

Both the pic and the poetry.

no more poetry...withdrawal for awhile!
wow! I'm good now!

Did you write that Krix ? You are GOOD! You should put some of your words to music.

P.S. I play guitar. Mind if I try? If I come up with something interesting, I'll let you know.

is that who I think it was????

Yea, these words get my imagination going some wild places... This kind of poetry will definitely sound good in a song.

Krix- did you get the email from Becky Band about the after party at Dublin's? Can you imagine if he had been there and you'd missed that? I nearly had the vapors just thinking about it yesterday...

Oh, you're just going to have to stop this. After reading and rereading this ode to the bassman, I need a cigarette. And as I've said before, I don't smoke, so it must be really tempting for you, Krix.

I also looked up one afficianado's definition of "good bass sounds" and found this:

"...the bass should have a nice balance between a rich bottom end and an articulate top end, great intonation, nice sustain, and no rattles or buzzes."

An excellent description of the man himself!

It just sort of spilled out of me last night. Go ahead and use it to inspire some music, Zen (or anyone).
I actually could conceptualize it as the basis for a piece of performance art that begins as a rock song, and then one by one anyone NOT playing bass onstage is unplugged and shoved off of the stage. All the while the words building in intensity until they are being screamed at the top of my lungs and then the bass player and I indulge in all sorts of perversions right on the stage in front of god and everyone.
For art's sake.

Wow.. I have been reading here for a while, and as always, I keep coming back to see what you have written next.. Erotica poetry~ Now would be a good time to break out the ash tray, er, ladel holder :):):) Oh heck, I will just smoke an extra one for ya :)

um, yeah, just make sure your performance (described so laciviously above) co-stars either dogstar or becky. for art's sake.

Posted by: lori on July 15, 2003 04:29 PM

Yep. I'm all about the art, baby.

you struck gold with this gem of creativity.
can't put my finger on it,
but there's a heady rush that is
