Cut two onions in dices. Spread two table spoon sugar over them. Wait for two hours until the sugar turns to syrup. Take it the next two days 3x a day.
Kills every cough and sore throat. And it tastes not half that bad as it sounds!

You don't have to eat these onions. It's their syrup, mix it with honey – and there is no onion taste anymore. I tried this recipe three years ago the first time (and yes, I refused myself to do this on my own.) When these first cold-alien-signs are coming to you and you'll take it: 10 minutes later they're all gone. It's some sort of exorcism. ;-) I had no cold since three years, and ususally I had them two times a year. It's really cool stuff, costs nothing and no cough will kill your nerves the next three weeks.
But the good thing for krix is: she has this furry stylish alive hot-water bottle in her bed! ;-)
