LOL@"Get Your Hunk On"

Ok...cable running and VCR programmed just in case ;-)

i missed the nhl ad, i'm not missing this!

AARRRRGGGHHHH!!! For eighty-six fecking dollars a month, you'd think ComCast could manage to keep cable service online, wouldn't you?? But nooooo... the one thing I truly crave to see because it will NOT be re-run a bazillion times, and we're experiencing a "service interruption" in my neighborhood. I would gladly set my VCR to record snow, just in case they magically heal the connection, except you can't find the channel number for Spike without the fecking online guide.

Sorry...I feel (marginally) better after venting. If anyone finds a clip of this, please share. }:-[

ahh, poor JeezLouise! i turned on my tv 12 minutes into the show, and only had to sit through about 10 minutes of other (rather entertaining) stuff before Dennis Hopper started talking about keanu. he got a standing O! and he was so lovely (in a scruffy kinda way) and gracious and humble and kind and yes i admit it, there were tears in my eyes for him, for this wonderful experience he was having. he looked so...what's that word?...happy.

***sigh***

Posted by: lori on May 26, 2004 11:54 PM

well for those who couldnt see it here is what I thought of the show:

I thought he was overwhelmed. the standing ovation gave me goose bumps Im so happy for him!!! LOL! he's so cute, I thought he was going to cry when he put his hand on his chest and looked at the audience LOL but when he started talking I knew he was keeping himself together and just having GREAT fun! oh and I loved the clip of Keanu movies and BTS that they put together and what Dennis said of him as well and when Keanu shouted to R.A., his imitation of the stunt coordinator from Point Break IT WAS CUTE! i love that people laughed cause it made ME laugh LOL erm... and when he patted Chad on the back AND THAT SMILE OHHH THAT SMILE!!!! he couldnt get it off his face!!!! I FELT SO GREAT! PEOPLE CHEERED AND I EVEN HEARD WHISTLES! and Keanu clapping when the audience did and he even clapped at the audience... LOL so cute OH LORD I LOVED THE WHOLE THING and not having to wait the entire show for it IT WAS GREAT! btw Keanu went back to the mic after saying his thank yous and said something else was the mic off already? or maybe we didnt hear him....? ANYWAYS THE SHOW WAS GREAT!

CONGRATS KEANU we KNOW you deserved that and MUCH MORE! love...

Ditto Jeezlouise...no cable...ok cable guy, what now???

...BUT...good friends who did me a favor to record, will see it tomorrow and I CAN'T WAIT! I'm so happy for him...and I hope he is so proud of himself for his achievement.

Posted by: shelz on May 27, 2004 07:33 AM

BTW Chad was LOOKING MIGHTY FINE! lol :)

Posted by: neosjourney on May 27, 2004 07:49 AM

I am sure he might not be as proud as we are of him, CAUSE I CANT EVEN DESCRIBE HOW INCREDEBLY PROUD I FEEL and you guys know how humble he is his "I've never done a stunt in my life" quote and him pointing out that he didnt do all the things he was seen doing in the clip they showed proves it.

Posted by: neosjourney on May 27, 2004 07:53 AM

Oh, yeah--saw it. Nice little montage they had. Then I promptly went to bed.

They also had my "boi" Ioan Gruffudd right before that for the featurette on King Arthur. Was that cool, or what? I thought it was a nice 2-for-1.

I love SpikeTV.

This pic has set me to thinking I'd like to be the filling in a stuntman sandwich. YUM.

@JeezLouise
oh, poor girl. We (from overseas) can understand your pain!

@neosjourney
thank you so much for your interpretation, I feel now a bit like I‘ve seen it, too… *hug*

Damn, I wish…
