What the Hell, Blazer?

Constantine pushed back to February 2005?

Ugh.

Thanks for spitting in my coffee this morning, Warner Brothers.

Well, shit. Okay, well... hanging in there for Thumbsucker, then, I guess... (sulk)

There seem to be quite a handful of loonies working at WB. They did nothing to support the "Matrix" franchise but went out of their way for LOTR - and now this. Is it some kind of conspiracy? The filming has wrapped, so why don't they go ahead and stick with the scheduled release date?

Maybe the date was pushed back, because WB is afraid that the market will be flooded with movies based on comic books (when are Spider-Man and Hellboy and Catwoman supposed to come out?); or they are still working on the special effects?

I hear that the January-April period is the dumping grounds for films for which studios have low expectations. Bad sign, in my book. Not for the film itself, but for the studio's commitment to it.

That's out of order!

The report of the change of the release date at Superherhype doesn't indicate why it was moved. IMO to assume the worst just perpetuates the negativity.

IMO in Feb they will have better box office than having all the competition from Labor Day and other September big releases. IMO of course.

Hmm, doesn't the next Star Wars come out first quarter 2005? Maybe it's second quarter. I hope it's second quarter. I'm also hoping the delay is to ensure quality.

Yeah, I'm trying to think positive here.

On the other hand...no Keanu until...?? I mean, unless/until Thumbsucker picks up a distribution agreement at one of the festivals...?

How can a man who is constantly working end up with a period of ...a whole year? ... with no films out?

The mysteries of Hollywood.

Who made this decision???!!!...no doubt it was an exectutive decision...these kind always are. WB is cleary in the Fortune 50!

Well...I'll be there in '05...twice or thrice if I have to.
