Biography

I'm not sure if A&E's Biography on Keanu is going to air tonight or not. Some people are saying it's been rescheduled, but I also have friends emailing me to let me know that they saw it advertised. Not that it matters to me, I don't have cable anyway.

Plus, apparently it sucks.

If it's on, I'll send you a copy.

No worries, if it does air, Roi *wants* to tape it for me.

You should have seen the reverse psychology footwork that went into THAT negotiation.

I'm having someone tape it for me, but eventually, I'll probably buy it from the Biography website. www.biography.com

They advertised Don Knotts all afternoon, and showed Don Knotts on my A&E at 8:00 tonight -hardly a qualified substitute. I dismissed that review you mentioned after considering the source.
That bitch needs to go back to reviewing cartoon movies for the under 12 set.

What a crappy article!!!! Criticizing his movies is not enough, now they have to put down his bio too??? His bio??? That's ridiculous, what a bunch of jealous fu%$#@!
Grrrrrrr.....
Thank god you're back up, which is a *good* thing, otherwise I'd probably have smoke coming out of my ears! Grmbl.

Julie and Chianti, I agree with you. It is sad and pathetic to criticize someone's biography. That just goes to show how some people have such a vendetta against this man.

I wonder if Biography has to get some kind of authorization to air a piece like this. Did Keanu agree with this? I question this given the private person he is. However, it does seem that the biography has compiled info from various articles and interviews, nothing really new. So, perhaps they did not need permission?

Regardless of what they may say, we all know and love the man that is Keanu.

I don't bother with reviews. What da hell do they know anywayz.

If i listened to those blasted !@*x*!~ reviews I've have hardly any of Ke's DVD's/videos. Talk about a travesty. So unless it's a rave review, their commentary doesn't even compute.

yep, i saw some of Don Knotts, too, dammit. oh, and hell yeah it's good see you back, krix!

i like your site, just one thing though. the links and the text are really closely colored, so it is a tad hard to pick them out, especially if youre just glancing, or read fast like i do. otherwise, keep on reeving.

also, i tried to email you, but it got returned.
i know you're all about keanu, but i just thought this might interest you. then again, you may have already seen it.

and then this place has the scripts for reloaded, including the all confusing architect part (you probably have read this too, but just in
case)

enjoy.

Thanks for those links, madmathias.

Once I get the site moved I am hoping to make it skinnable so that should help.

I thought it sounded like it sucked because it was probably made at this time in order to exploit his fame concurrent with the release of Reloaded. That it certainly wouldn't touch on anything *new* or of any depth. and from the description of the content it sounds like it had a certain amount of tacky sensationalization of the tragedies in his life. I've also read on at least one list that the program was pulled from airing at his request. Of course, I don't know how true that is. But it wouldn't suprise me at all.

If Ke's management group had ANYTHING to do with pulling a "somewhat" biased interview (trying to be nice), I sing praises to the highest heavens.
And if A&E's concern about airing that program was credibility-motivated, I'm glad they had some semblance of conscience. (I'm thinking, though, that Ke mgmt input was justification for the change.)

One small clue about when it *may* be aired: They are selling the video in their store stating that it will be "available in 3 weeks" - however, someone at RD received a letter as a response to her e-mail inquiry, which stated that the video could not be sold until after the show had aired... so maybe it will air in the next 3 weeks? On the other hand this person from A&E also stated that it had been pulled indefinitely...

It must really stink, or they figure there's too much hype... or Keanu has much more clout than even we had imagined...

hmmm...in the meantime, the A&E site rates the most viewed biographies on-line as such:

1. Keanu Reeves
2. George W. Bush
3. Donald Rumsfeld
4. Saddam Hussein
5. Colin Powell
6. Ray Romano
7. Ariel Sharon
8. Catherine Zeta Jones
9. Patrick Stewart
10. Renee Zellweger

It is to laugh...
