Yeah, I have a thing for eyeballs
Today is the day that The Second Renaissance: Part One is available to download at the Official Site.
"The segment is directed by Mahiro Maeda, who directed the Japanese animated series Blue Submarine No. 6. Among other noted animé filmmakers involved are Koji Morimoto (Akira) and Peter Chung (creator of Aeon Flux)."
source:USA Today (there's actually a whole article there that you might want to check out)
Also at the new Animatrix pages are gallery shots and info on ALL the upcoming animé shorts that will be coming to the OS. The picture at the top is from "Detective Story", which visually so far, looks like it's going to be my favorite.

Eeeeek!!!!! Are you trying to ruin my day? This picture looks like it could have been a freeze-frame of one of my worst nightmares! I am not really affraid of anything -except zombies- But the thought of something poking in my eyeballs is enough to make me cringe. *shiver*
Geeze, if you knew how much of an anime freak I am :) This is so sweet!
Hee! Sorry Julie.
I love that image, it's so "Clockwork Orange".
I just got some window cling medium for my printer and I'm totally making a decal of it.
so cool. i'm gonna have to go watch now. thanks.
AH! Not working for me! Maybe the website is getting hammered? The preview was cool. I think that DVD will be a required purchase this year.
Gee, reminds me of work today. I'm an OR nurse, and we were doing some eye surgery this afternoon.
I finally got to see it! Awsome.
FYI: Peter Chung (creator of Aeon Flux) has a show that's going to be on Cartoon Network soon.
I love this story, its one of the well drawn episodes...but i can wait wait for the scenes of the second renicance(however you spell it) part 2...the war scenes are hot!
