Eeny Meeny Gypsaleeny

It's come to my attention that a few of my friends are experiencing a bout with the December blues/grumpies/raging bitchosis and that makes me wish I could wrap you all in a great big eddieshirt and give you warm fuzzies.

Alas, I cannot.
But I can share a part of myself and those that I love in the form of song.

Last week, when Eric was in town; he, I and Roi went over to Dave's and hung out. Had some pizza and beer and also had some fun.

The following is a result of some good friends improvising for a few hours that evening.

Liberace.mp3 (*was here, has since been removed to save embarassment and space...sorry. Trust me, you aren't really missing anything*)

Yeah, it's a big file, sorry to those of you on dial-up.

That's Roi on vocals and guitar, and me throwing in some (horrible) background vocals after much coaxing.
Dave on lead guitar and Eric on keyboard, bass and drums.
Dave did the mixdown.

It's dedicated to the Peppers (Kim and Keefe), who are up in Reno now, but should have been there.

So "ah-chee, cah-chee, Liberace I LOVE YOU".
And don't you forget it.

Darn! My computer doesn't have sound! Oh well, I don't like men covered in diamonds anyway... I prefer them covered in chocolate-sauce ;-)

Haha, the song isn't about Liberace, it just uses that shcoolyard rhyme:
"Eeny Meeny Gypsaleeni, Oo-bop-bop-a-linni
Ach-ee cah-chee Liberace, I love you"

You used to sing THAT in school??? I knew you Americans were 'different'... I used to sing and tapdance on the old Dutch favorite 'clackity-clack, my clogs are on fire'! (performed on wooden shoes, obviously) It gave great special effects, especially when sung during the night :-)

whoa, how cool is that? go krix! stop and go...

Okay, I'm downloading it. Don't scare me away with the oopsie-daisy-teeny-weenie talkie. :)

I thought Liberace was kinda cute. Tacky, but cute.

Sounds like someone was having a lot of fun. If you wanna know a way of getting out of singing, learn an instrument you have to blow into. Last jam session I ever did (years back), I played the saxaphone... Saved from getting me on tape singing :)

Now that I've had a chance to listen to it a few times, I'm ready to go back in and re-do it.
I should mention that once this post leaves the main page, I'm going to be deleting it and removing the mp3 file for space.

Okay, krix, you got the thing! You sing well! And the song is nice! :)
Don't worry about removing the .mp3 I already got it in my computer. lol
