Would and could Keanu play Joey Ramone?
I think he could, with the right director.
I'm not sure he would, however....
I think Keanu is the biggest joke that Hollywood has ever had a hand in putting on the screen!! With such wonderful movies like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and its outstanding followup, he has shown what type of actor he is. If it weren't for the special computer effects and Lawrence Fishburn even The Matrix would have been a huge flop if left only to the talents of Keanu. After seeing his acting ability and hearing his band why would you want a second rate actor to portray someone as talented as Joey Ramone? In all of the world there has to be someone who can play Joey and not make a mockery of his entire life and demean his talent...besides Keanu is much too short to be our Punk Rock Giant.
