Coming Soon (via POTD) reports that Winona Ryder, Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson and Rory Cochrane have been added to the cast of A Scanner Darkly.

I'm really excited about Downey. I wonder if he's going to play Barris? I hope so. I'm not that familiar with Rory Cochrane since someone is HOLDING OUT on returning Netflix's seemingly only copy of 'Empire Records'.
I predict: Downey as Jim Barris, Cochrane as Charles Freck and Harrelson as Jerry Fabin or Ernie Luckman. But I'm just guessing, going by the old Kaufman script and thinking of how I would cast it. I'm probably wrong.
Winona will obviously play Donna.
Oh please, if there is a God, don't let Winona get her hooks into him. Please, please, please... oh, I hope he's not lying awake at night thinking "Hey, I'm going to be 40 in 4 months, maybe I should just pick one and settle down..."
(Or if he IS, let him be trolling the internet, thinking, "what I need is a caffeine-addicted poet with lots of cats who likes to argue about politics, that's what I need, hm.... where to find, where to find...")

Ok, I'm the 'anti' here today, LOL!
I absolutely adore Winona, and have a total weakness for her :-) So, I hope they get to work together again! She rocks. And so did Edward Siccorhands. ;-p

Can someone tell me about this A Scanner Darkly book? Also, it would not be fair for Winona to get Keanu, she has already had Jonny Depp. Plus that, Keanu has yet to relise I'm alive, once he does Winona would have no chance.
