becky! now has a new design at the official site! a new message board! and apparently a new exclamation point that is now a part of the band's name....

Go check it out

íHa! They should be glad they haven't made it big yet or get rid of the exclamation point before they do, the German designer JOOP! has successfully sued copy-cats who tried to infringe his trademark "!"...

! I vote No "!" Reminds me of "Jeb!" and who needs that. becky is "!" already without punctuation.

I'm wondering if the right way to say the band's name now is to shout it whilst making "air quotes" with your fingers.

Hahaha, I'd like to see you do that! :-D

I think a little wink could also be added when pronouncing the letter 'B'. You know, to show you're part of the "!" incrowd ;-)
Like a secret handshake :-)

Anyway, they are probably just trying to make a *point* on being energetic or something :-)

Niobe is right though, they could be in legal trouble. Which is a "good!" thing, because it will mean extra publicity, lots of articles and general buzz! :-)
Hmmm.. Now that I think about it... I wonder? Maybe Joel was hired for their publicity? ;-)

LOL Julie = Joel.

That could explain it.

Yes Chianti!, it certainly seems we're on to something here!!! :-D

BTW, I've decided I want to be called Julie! from now on :-)
*let them sue me, see if I care* ;-D
