not gonna

I was tempted, but for fear of spoilage, I won't be checking out the 6 new Revolutions spots (in MPEG format) or the pictures over at the french Code-Matrix.net site.

However, you might want to.

Well, that solves that. They have been taken down (thx for the tip, Jen).
I can't read french but it looks like maybe WB had them take them down?

Anyway, there are still some screen captures (which I only briefly peeped at).

Good idea to stay away if you want to avoid spoilers. Although they were 30-sec tv spots, so they may be coming to a small screen near you soon. I'm more excited than ever (if possible) about Revolutions after seeing them! And that's all I'll say to maintain your cone of secrecy.

I skipped it, but thanks! :)

They've had to take them down.

Aw... Joel still thinks he has a chance with you :-)
Let's face it, the man loves you so much that he always puts your interests first. He can't bear to see you being torn between curiosity and fear, and has therefore taken the decision out of your hands... Wow, I'm all mushy now!!! :-)

I was nearly spoiled, too, because Netty wrote the magic word *pictures* on her blog, and I couldn't resist. It's a fetish. They were calling me... But because I'm so unspoiled, they didn't 'reveal' anything, I just thought they looked... Oh! Rump-shaking good! :-)

I wondered how long it would take for WB to police the sites. The caps at Code Matrix had watermarks on them. I wonder if the links/caps have been taken down and MatrixFans and Matrix Community. (I'll just have to go look! :)

BakedNudel will be disappointed - she put her computer into overdrive to post some really cool pics and thoughts to go with them.

No matter. I saved them to my hard drive. :)

Whew, glad I saved them on my hard drive too.

Free french translation: Warner Brothers contacted our website and we have withdrawn the spots that we initially posted for 24 hours. Marc Brandon from Warner Brothers comments “We do not know how these images reached this destination. They were online for tests.” Too bad - I wanted to check them out!

Thanks indy, (can I call you indy?).

The code-matrix site must have a truffle pig that sniffs out unreleased content!

Awwwawwww! I was going to do the translation dammit! For my new hero krix. *fume*

Yes, I'd love to know how many people managed to download the trailers before they were taken off--hundreds? thousands?

*whispers* they're still here: http://www.spectaculent.com/
at least, they were at 11:14pm ET on Monday.

Being a Marketing person myself, if I were WB I'd have had a press release out about this today because it's great publicity about fan enthusiasm...although since they included some unfinished FX shots I can see why WB wouldn't exactly be happy about having them out. Make lemonade, WB!

Posted by: bakednudel on September 15, 2003 08:17 PM

Well, WB seems sort of lax in that department. They wouldn't know a good thing if she threw herself in Joel Silver's lap and wiggled.

*cough*

Not that I'd know anything about that.

Damn, it got pulled aweddy!

I watched 'Enemy' and that was enough for me...
