Lights...Camera...ACTION!

Welcome to Cheryl's Movie Backlot!

As we wait for Keanu's next movie release (tick, tock, tick, tock), why not share our collective thoughts and memories about his previous releases? Keanu-based Internet websites are an informal oasis for fans to "confer, converse, and hobnob" with fellow Keanu wizards. But, as in life, it's nice to go formal once in awhile. Hence, the concept of the Movie Backlot was born.

Hopefully, each of the following back stories will give fans a chance to think about the movie showcased and an excuse to watch it again.
And, hopefully, each will generate a "plethora" of responses, adding new insights and deepening our appreciation for our own "Keanu Classic Movie Channel."

So sit back and enjoy our own version of "Reel Talk" as we explore together Keanu's eclectic film legacy.

~Cheryl

I'd like to thank Cheryl for all her research and insights into Keanu's filmography and for allowing me to archive them here.

I love this idea! I don't have any comments yet. But it's reminding me why I need to take another glance at all so many of these very excellent movies...

I have to say That Keanu was wonderful in Rivers Edge. I'm not saying that is his best movie but it is definetly on my Top 5 list of favorite Keanu Movies. I just loved his chracter in there because of the intensity & sensitivity that Keanu Portrayed in the film. I really felt his confusion & pain.

I just want to know how Cheryl comes across all this information.

She does amazing research of a number of sources, both in publications and on the web. It's a lot of work and I'm honored to share it here.

Hi all, I had a question: What about the movies "The Gift" and "The Watcher." I would love to read your reviews of those two. :)

Thanks for the great site!

BTW, as I make ALL my requests, I realize that a lot of time and effort goes into presenting the critiques. So give Cheryl our thanks for sharing this labor of love with us. (Now it's bye for sure!)

I've made a couple of good screensavers, sold some on EBAY and got a good response. If you'd like, you can have them for your desktop themes. Your wallpapers are great! Thanks,
Marge

Hi! I just have a question. What about Matrix Trilogy? Don't forget those because they are the best films from him. The best films of all times. I LOVE YOU, BEST.

Hello, Goodmorning! How are you today? Is anybody here? I want to chat with Keanu but I don't know where is he now. I talked to him before but somebody was bad and locked me out. I'm a good person looking for a friend and I know Keanu is good too. Do you know him?
